Does the Use of the “Proseek® Multiplex Inflammation I Panel” Demonstrate a Difference in Local and Systemic Immune Responses in Endometriosis Patients with or without Deep-Infiltrating Lesions?
This study measured 92 inflammatory proteins in plasma and peritoneal fluid to compare immune responses in endometriosis patients with and without deep-infiltrating lesions, finding distinct protein profiles that suggest the systemic immune system has a limited role in deep-infiltrating endometriosis pathogenesis.
