A curated, license-aware research corpus pulling from PubMed, OpenAlex, Europe PMC, Unpaywall, ClinicalTrials.gov, ICTRP, NIH RePORTER and CORDIS. Hybrid lexical + semantic search, rich filters, and one-click citation export.
What's in the corpus
Every record links back to its primary source and preserves the source license. Records from non-commercial-only feeds (e.g. WHO ICTRP) are flagged so commercial users can filter them out. License and attribution metadata is surfaced on every paper and trial detail page.
Search modes
- Hybrid (default) — combines lexical BM25 with MedCPT semantic embeddings via reciprocal rank fusion. Best general surface; tolerates phrasing differences.
- BM25 — fast lexical search via ParadeDB pg_search (with a tsvector fallback when section scope is requested). Use this for precise wording or when reproducibility matters.
- Vector — pure semantic similarity. Useful for "find papers about this concept" queries that don't share keywords with the corpus.
Filters that actually help
Year range, study type, condition tags, outcome instruments, OA status, section scope (title/abstract/methods/results), language, and diversity facets (adolescents included, transgender included, LMIC sites, race/ethnicity reported). Filters compose freely with any search mode.
Export
Every result set is exportable as CSV, RIS (Zotero/EndNote/Mendeley) or BibTeX. Up to 1,000 papers per export.
