Association between phthalate exposure and glutathione S-transferase M1 polymorphism in adenomyosis, leiomyoma and endometriosis
This study found elevated urinary phthalate levels in women with leiomyoma and endometriosis, with GSTM1 null genotype increasing adenomyosis risk and interacting with phthalate exposure to raise risk for adenomyosis and leiomyoma.
