Pathophysiology of Endometriosis: Role of High Mobility Group Box-1 and Toll-Like Receptor 4 Developing Inflammation in Endometrium
This study found that high mobility group box-1 (HMGB-1) increases endometrial stromal cell proliferation and Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) expression, linking oxidative stress to pathological endometrial changes relevant to endometriosis development.
