Histological evaluation of the prevalence of adenomyosis, myomas and of their concomitance
This observational study histologically evaluated 347 hysterectomy specimens, finding adenomyosis and leiomyomas were more prevalent in symptomatic premenopausal women than postmenopausal women, with concomitant presence occurring in 30% of symptomatic cases.
