Endometriosis-induced vaginal hyperalgesia in the rat: Effect of estropause, ovariectomy, and estradiol replacement
This study found that endometriosis-induced vaginal hyperalgesia in rats is exacerbated by estradiol and that ovariectomy followed by estradiol replacement alleviates this type of hyperalgesia.
