Deep endometriosis lesions increased miR-29c and decreased FKBP52 expression in the endometrium, both of which returned to normal levels after surgical removal of the lesions.

Esta paper is centrally about endometriosis — it specifically examines how surgical removal of deep endometriosis lesions affects miRNA-21, miRNA-451, miRNA-29c and FKBP52 expression.
