A COMPARISON OF THE EFFECTS OF DANAZOL AND GESTRINONE ON TESTOSTERONE BINDING TO SEX HORMONE BINDING GLOBULIN IN VITRO AND IN VIVO
Danazol and gestrinone reduce sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) capacity and compete with testosterone for SHBG sites, with danazol's metabolite ethisterone significantly increasing free testosterone by competing for binding sites.
