Association between endometriosis stage, lesion type, patient characteristics and severity of pelvic pain symptoms: a multivariate analysis of over 1000 patients
This study found that while posterior cul-de-sac lesions correlate with dyspareunia, endometriosis stage had only a marginal and inconsistent association with symptom severity in over 1000 patients.
