Effects of pelvic endometriosis and adenomyosis on ciliary beat frequency and muscular contractions in the human fallopian tube
Endometriosis significantly reduced human fallopian tube ciliary beat frequency, ciliated cell percentage, and muscular contractility, especially with tubal involvement, while adenomyosis did not alter these functions.
