Increased expression of interleukin-1 receptor type 1 in active endometriotic lesions
Interleukin-1 receptor type 1 (IL-1RI) is expressed in endometriotic lesions, especially in active red lesions, with higher expression in the proliferative phase, indicating increased IL-1 receptivity and potential involvement in disease progression.
