Proteomic analysis of eutopic and ectopic endometriotic tissues based on isobaric peptide tags for relative and absolute quantification (iTRAQ) method.
This proteomic study analyzed matched eutopic and ectopic endometriotic tissues from women with endometriosis using iTRAQ, finding increased expression of certain proteins in endometriotic samples, with vimentin specifically elevated in ovarian endometriomas.
