Ultrasonographic characterization of parametrial endometriosis: a prospective study
Transvaginal ultrasound showed 77.1% sensitivity and 99.1% specificity for parametrial endometriosis, typically characterized by hypoechoic nodules in the posterior region, often associated with rectal or rectovaginal septum involvement.
