Cone biopsy causes cervical endometriosis and tubo‐endometrioid metaplasia
This study found that cervical endometriosis and tubo-endometrioid metaplasia are common complications of cone biopsy, occurring in 69% of post-conization cervices due to aberrant differentiation after injury.
