Long-Term Clinical Outcomes in Diabetic Rhesus Macaques (Macaca mulatta) Treated with Medroxyprogesterone Acetate for Endometriosis.
This retrospective study examined 29 rhesus macaques and found that medroxyprogesterone acetate treatment, while associated with worsening trends in lifespan and incident diabetes, did not significantly alter outcomes in animals with diabetes or endometriosis.
