The pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory role of hyaluronic acid in endometriosis
This study found that hyaluronic acid can both increase COX-2 expression in endometriosis cells and reduce lesion size and COX-2 expression in a mouse model, suggesting a dual inflammatory role.
