Effects of LNG-IUS on nerve growth factor and its receptors expression in patients with adenomyosis
This study found that the levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system (LNG-IUS) significantly decreased expression of nerve growth factor (NGF), NGFR p75, and TrkA in endometrial and myometrial tissues of adenomyosis patients compared to untreated patients.
