腸閉塞症状を呈した回腸子宮内膜症の1例について報告する.症例は35歳女性で, 月経に伴った腹痛があり, 1991年3月, 腸閉塞症状のため緊急入院した.Ileus tubeによる腸管内の減圧をはかった後, 小腸造影で回腸末端部に狭窄像を認めた.回腸子宮内膜症の診断のもと, 回盲部切除, 右卵巣卵管切除術を施行した.組織学的検査で, 腸管の筋層内に子宮内膜組織を認めた.回腸子宮内膜症の本邦報告例は25例で, まれな疾患である.診断は, 婦人科的症状に伴ってしばしば起こる腹痛などの問診から, 疑いをもつことから始まる.症状を起こした腸管子宮内膜症に対する治療は, 腸切除が最適である.腸閉塞の原因として, 本疾患も念頭において診療にあたるべきである.
