Mean grey value is lower in endometriomas: Differentiating a hypoechogenic adnexal cyst by 3-dimensional power Doppler ultrasound—A preliminary study
This study found that the mean grey value and lesion volume were significantly lower in histologically proven endometriomas compared to other hypoechogenic adnexal cysts, suggesting MGV's utility in differentiation.
