This qualitative descriptive study investigated coping strategies used by Brazilian women diagnosed with endometriosis, based on 20 semi-structured online interviews conducted via Google Meet with participants aged 18–47 who were members of closed Facebook groups, analyzed with thematic content analysis (Atlas.ti8). Women reported problem-focused coping including (self-)control associated with medication and surgical treatment, as well as symptom-relief through relaxation, anti-inflammatory dietary habits, physical activity, and natural therapies. Emotion-focused coping encompassed self-knowledge, information seeking, self-care, positive mentalization, respecting personal time and lived processes, and participation in virtual support groups, while some accounts described giving up, adopting a passive stance, and distancing from social and professional life. A limitation is that the sample comes from virtual networks and only includes women engaged in Facebook groups, which may not represent broader experiences. This paper is centrally about endometriosis — it focuses on how women with a diagnosis use coping strategies to adapt to the condition.
