Endometriose

Zusammenfassung Unter Endometriose versteht man das Vorkommen von endometrialen Drüsen und Stroma an unphysiologischen, d. h. extrauterinen Lokalisationen. Wegen ihrer Häufigkeit in der weiblichen Bevölkerung, insbesondere aber in Subpopulationen, beispielsweise sterilen Frauen, ist die Endometriose eine in der Praxis wichtige Erkrankung. Eine der Unterscheidungsmerkmale der verschiedenen Endometrioseformen ist die Lokalisation.
