The paper discusses endometriosis and describes an integrative Chinese medicine approach that combines modern phytopharmacology, Chinese medicine concepts, and conventional medical ideas, drawing specifically on Jeremy Ross’s framework. It argues that initiating early ICM therapy using Western medicinal plants within this integrated model can address pain, improve quality of life, and help prevent chronification, while noting that endometriosis diagnosis commonly takes 8–10 years. A key limitation is that the text presents this as a treatment concept and rationale rather than detailing original clinical trial methods or data within the provided content. This paper is centrally about endometriosis — it frames early integrative Chinese medicine using Western medicinal plants for managing endometriosis-related pain and quality of life, aiming to prevent chronicity.
