The paper studies infertility associated with endometriosis and evaluates the efficacy of dienogest in that context, using a narrative review/overview structure rather than original experimental data. It synthesizes existing information on how endometriosis contributes to subfertility and how dienogest has been assessed in relation to reproductive outcomes, including evidence drawn from prior research. A stated limitation is that the provided text does not present new trial results or a defined study protocol with quantitative outcomes, indicating reliance on referenced literature and potential variability across included studies. This paper is centrally about endometriosis — endometriosis-associated infertility and the efficacy of dienogest.

Abstract

Endometriosis remains one of the key challenges in reproductive medicine in the 21st century. One in ten women of reproductive age has this condition, the main clinical manifestations of which are chronic pelvic pain and infertility. It should be noted that implantation failures are common in patients with endometriosis-associated infertility undergoing assisted reproductive technology (ART). This article examines the main pathogenetic mechanisms of implantation failure in endometriosis-associated infertility and treatment options.
