Three-dimensional saline infusion sonography compared to two-dimensional saline infusion sonography for the diagnosis of focal intracavitary lesions
This meta-analysis found that while 3D SIS showed higher sensitivity and specificity than 2D SIS for detecting uterine abnormalities, the differences were not statistically significant, suggesting both are highly accurate alternatives to hysteroscopy.
