Development of an Italian National Epidemiological Register on Endometriosis based on Administrative Data
This study used Italian hospital discharge data from 2011-2020 to estimate endometriosis incidence at 0.839 per 1000 women and prevalence at 14.0 per 1000, revealing a decreasing incidence trend and a north-south regional gradient.
