Unexpected increase of the CA 19-9 tumour marker in patients with endometriosis.
This study found that CA 19-9 levels were elevated in over half of endometriosis patients and significantly decreased with danazol treatment, suggesting a link between endometriosis, ovarian function, and CA 19-9.
