Scientific literature shows that one in nine women suffers from endometriosis [1]: a chronic inflammatory condition characterized by chronic pelvic pain, fatigue, dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation), dyspareunia (pain associated with sexual intercourse), nausea, and intestinal and bladder problems [2].
