Abstract

Intestinal endometriosis is a very uncommon cause of acute abdomen that must be included in the differential diagnosis of small bowel obstruction in young fertile women with a history of recurrent abdominal pain. We present a case of this disease diagnosed by exploratory laparoscopy in a patient with bowel obstruction and no response to conservative treatment.
