Abstract

In this chapter, we make a detailed description of the pelvic anatomical landmarks and the morphologic appearance of the deep endometriotic lesions of the anterior (bladder, distal ureter, round ligaments, and anterior myometrium), posterior (retrocervical region, rectovaginal space, uterosacral ligaments), and lateral (hypogastric nerves, parametrium, ovarian fossa, and pelvic floor). We also describe other locations such as cesarean scar line, umbilicus, inguinal region or canal of Nuck, appendix, cecum and terminal ileum, and the diaphragm.
