Gut Microbiome–Estrobolome Profile in Reproductive-Age Women with Endometriosis
This study found that women with endometriosis had enriched Erysipelotrichia in their gut microbiota and higher levels of certain estrogen metabolites in fecal samples, despite no significant differences in overall microbial diversity or β-glucuronidase activity.
