Regulation of myeloid ecotropic viral integration site 1 and its expression in normal and abnormal endometrium
This study found that MEIS1 expression increases in the endometrium during implantation and is upregulated by sex steroids, but is lower in endometriosis, suggesting a role in uterine receptivity and potential contribution to implantation failure.
