Abstract

Endometriosis is one of the most common and understudied diseases in women all over the world. The more than a century-old history of endometriosis research does not currently provide unambiguous answers about the causes, risk factors, etiology and methods of its treatment. Chronic pelvic pain as one of the main symptoms of endometriosis is the cause of not only physical suffering, but also a negative change in the mental status of women, deterioration of their quality of life. Body-oriented methods of treating the disease often turn out to be ineffective. The relationship between psychosomatic components (depression, anxiety, neuroticism) and chronic pelvic pain, despite the evidence, remains underestimated and is not always considered in medical theory and practice. This review article reflects the main epidemiological characteristics of chronic pain syndrome in genital endometriosis in women, from an epidemiological point of view, the main approaches of modern medical science to determining risk factors for its occurrence and development are considered. The promising role of an interdisciplinary (biopsychosocial) approach in the diagnosis and treatment of such patients, the need for further research and practical application of complex methods of treatment of chronic pain syndrome in genital endometriosis are shown.

Эпидемиологические аспекты синдрома хронической тазовой боли при генитальном эндометриозе (обзор литературы) https://doi.org/10.18699/SSMJ20240301 Аннотация Эндометриоз относится к числу распространенных и малоизученных заболеваний женщин во всем мире. Более чем столетняя история изучения эндометриоза не дает в настоящее время однозначных ответов о причинах, факторах риска, этиологии и методах его лечения. Хроническая тазовая боль как один из основных симптомов эндометриоза является причиной не только физических страданий, но и негативного изменения психического статуса женщин, ухудшения качества их жизни. Соматоориентированные методики лечения болевого синдрома при данном заболевании часто оказываются малоэффективными. Взаимосвязь психосоматических компонентов (депрессия, тревога, невротизм) и хронической тазовой боли, несмотря на очевидность, остается недооцененной и не всегда учитывается в медицинской теории и практике. В настоящем литературном обзоре отражены основные эпидемиологические характеристики хронического болевого синдрома при генитальном эндометриозе у женщин, с эпидемиологической точки зрения рассмотрены основные подходы современной медицинской науки к определению факторов риска его возникновения и развития, показана перспективная роль междисциплинарного (биопсихосоциального) подхода в диагностике и лечении таких пациенток, необходимость дальнейшего исследования и применения на практике комплексных методов лечения хронического болевого синдрома при генитальном эндометриозе.
