Luaran Transfer Embrio Simpan Beku pada Pasien Endometriosis Pasca Operasi dan Non Endometriosis yang Menjalani IVF di Klinik Permata Hati RSUP Dr. Sardjito
This retrospective cohort study found that postoperative endometriosis did not statistically affect biochemical or clinical pregnancy rates in patients undergoing frozen embryo transfer during IVF/ICSI.

This retrospective cohort study used medical records to compare pregnancy outcomes after frozen embryo transfer (IVF/ICSI) in 458 patients attending Klinik Permata Hati, RSUP Dr. Sardjito, including 119 with postoperative endometriosis (57 minimum–mild and 62 moderate–severe) and the remainder without endometriosis. Biochemical pregnancy and clinical pregnancy rates were slightly higher in postoperative endometriosis patients than in non-endometriosis patients, but endometriosis did not statistically affect biochemical (p=0.428) or clinical pregnancy (p=0.535) success. Miscarriage rates were higher in the postoperative endometriosis group (88.6% vs 80.7%) but also not statistically significant (p=0.294), while biochemical/clinical pregnancy were significantly influenced by age, infertility cause, endometrial thickness, embryo age, and embryo quality, and miscarriage by the ovarian stimulation protocol. This paper is centrally about endometriosis — it evaluates whether postoperative endometriosis alters frozen embryo transfer outcomes in IVF/ICSI cycles.
