This paper conducted an integrative review using LILACS, applying PICOT and PRISMA 2020 to select 13 studies about the repercussions of endometriosis on women’s quality of life in Brazil. The review found that, because endometriosis has an unknown etiology and is subdiagnosed, it affects multiple domains beyond physical health, including mental, financial, and social well-being. The authors note limitations consistent with an integrative review and the underlying evidence base, and emphasize that the condition’s diagnostic delay complicates understanding its full impact. This paper is centrally about endometriosis — it focuses on the multidimensional effects of endometriosis on Brazilian women’s quality of life.
