Efficacy of etonogestrel subcutaneous implants versus the levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system in the conservative treatment of adenomyosis
This study found both etonogestrel implants and levonorgestrel IUDs improved adenomyosis symptoms, but the IUD was more effective for uterine volume reduction and bleeding control with fewer side effects.
