Effect of low-dose aspirin therapy on implantation rate in women undergoing in-vitro fertilization cycles
Low-dose aspirin in IVF cycles did not improve implantation and pregnancy rates, although it did reduce OHSS occurrence.

This randomized study investigated whether adding low-dose aspirin (100 mg daily) to standard IVF “long protocol” affects ovarian response, implantation rate, and pregnancy outcomes in 145 unselected infertile women (mean age 29.6 years) undergoing IVF at Royan Institute (Apr 2002–Jan 2004). Aspirin or placebo was started on day 21 of the preceding menstrual cycle and continued until menstruation or a negative pregnancy test, with continuation to 12 weeks of pregnancy if pregnant. Compared with placebo, the aspirin group showed a lower number of follicles reaching ≥15 mm and a lower OHSS occurrence, but there were no statistically significant differences in other measured outcomes, including implantation and pregnancy rates. This paper does not explicitly discuss endometriosis or adenomyosis; it was included in the corpus via a keyword match in the upstream search index.
