This retrospective study analyzed clinical data from 366 patients with pathologically confirmed moderate to severe ovarian endometriosis and 244 controls with benign ovarian cysts to evaluate coagulation and inflammatory markers. The results showed that endometriosis patients had significantly shorter prothrombin and thrombin times, higher fibrinogen and D-dimer levels, and elevated neutrophil-to-lymphocyte and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratios compared to the control group. These abnormalities were more pronounced in stage IV disease than in stage III, and combining fibrinogen with CA125 improved diagnostic sensitivity to 84.9% for identifying the condition.
