Abstract

Summary A case of ovarian intravascular endometrial tissue in a 46 yr old woman with a strong family history of endometrial carcinoma and abnormal endometrial histology is presented. The diagnosis was supported by histological and immunohistochemical findings. Although recognized at other sites, intravaseular endometrial tissue has not been described previously in the ovary.
