Salivary microRNA testing for endometriosis: clinical evaluation in an endometriosis center
This study found that the salivary microRNA test Endotest© had 73% accuracy, 78% sensitivity, and 33% specificity for diagnosing endometriosis compared to laparoscopy, with lower accuracy for deep infiltrating endometriosis and inconsistent postoperative results.
