Clinical Outcomes of Sildenafil Application in Patients of Poor Endometrial Development
This study investigated sildenafil's effect on endometrial thickness, type, and pregnancy outcomes in 472 infertile patients with poor endometrial development undergoing IVF/ICSI-FET, finding no significant improvements.

This retrospective cohort study evaluated whether sildenafil citrate affects endometrial development and IVF/ICSI outcomes in 472 infertility patients undergoing frozen-thawed embryo transfer in hormone replacement cycles, comparing 88 sildenafil users (including vaginal sildenafil 50 mg/day) versus 384 non-users. Endometrial thickness and A/B/C endometrial pattern on the day of endometrial transformation, as well as endometrial thickness growth and pregnancy outcomes (biochemical/clinical pregnancy, early and late abortion, and live birth) were analyzed, including regression adjustment for confounding. No significant differences were found between groups for endometrial thickness or type on the transformation day or for pregnancy outcomes, and adjusted analyses similarly showed sildenafil did not improve endometrial growth or clinical pregnancy. The paper does not explicitly discuss endometriosis or adenomyosis; it was included in the corpus via a keyword match in the upstream search index.
