Androgen receptor and 5α‐reductase are expressed in pelvic endometriosis
Androgen receptor, 5alpha-reductase 1, and 5alpha-reductase 2 were detected in pelvic endometriosis and eutopic endometrium, indicating active androgens may form locally to affect endometriotic cells.
