This review assessed medical treatments for menorrhagia, finding progestogens modestly effective in anovulatory women, prostaglandin inhibitors and antifibrinolytics useful, GnRH analogues effective but with contraindications, and danazol at 200mg daily highly effective and well-tolerated.
