Mapping of susceptibility locus for endometriosis within the HLA region using microsatellite markers in Japanese women
This study analyzed microsatellite markers in the human leukocyte antigen region of Japanese women and found no association with endometriosis, suggesting the HLA class II and part of class III regions are not involved in its etiology in this population.
