Abstract

Endometriosis didefinisikan sebagai suatu kondisi adanya epitel endometrium dan atau sel stroma di luar kavum uterus. Infertilitas adalah gejala yang relatif umum pada pasien dengan endometriosis. Sayangnya, banyak perempuan sering mengalami keterlambatan diagnosis endometriosis yang mengakibatkan kesakitan yang tidak perlu dan penurunan kualitas hidup. Pemberian penyuluhan kesehatan tentang penyakit endometriosis diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran perempuan sejak masuk usia reproduktif tentang bahaya endometriosis dan dapat segera memeriksakan diri ketika mengalami tanda dan gejala endometriosis. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah penyuluhan kesehatan tentang endometriosis. Penyuluhan dilakukan kepada mahasiswi D3 Rekam Medik dan Informasi Kesehatan, Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang pada bulan Desember 2022. Sebanyak 23 mahasiswi kelas D15 menjadi peserta penyuluhan kesehatan. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Evaluasi hasil penyuluhan dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test menggunakan beberapa pertanyaan yang bisa diakses peserta melalui link google form. Dari 23 peserta penyuluhan, sebanyak 20 peserta yang menjawab soal pre-test dan post-test. Evaluasi penyuluhan menunjukkan adanya kenaikan tingkat pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan, yaitu dari rata � rata skor pengetahuan sebelum 68,75 menjadi 97,5 saat post-test. Berdasarkan evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyuluhan kesehatan tentang endometriosis ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan tentang endometriosis.
