Self-Determined Sexual Motivation in Persons with Endometriosis and Their Partners: Dyadic Associations of Autonomous and Controlled Sexual Motivations with Sexual and Relational Well-Being and Pain
This study found that autonomous sexual motivation in persons with endometriosis was linked to greater sexual and relational satisfaction, while controlled sexual motivation was associated with increased pain and lower sexual satisfaction for both partners.
