The anti-inflammatory action of danazol and leuprorelin acetate depot on endometriosis is CRH independent
This study found no difference in serum CRH levels between women with and without endometriosis, and danazol or leuprorelin treatments did not affect CRH during administration.

This study measured circulating serum corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) in women with endometriosis and compared levels with controls, then assessed how 6-month treatment with danazol or leuprorelin acetate depot affected CRH concentrations. CRH levels were not significantly different between women with endometriosis and controls, and danazol or leuprorelin had no effect on CRH levels during the specific 6-month treatment period. However, CRH levels changed after treatment cessation: they were significantly lower 3 months after danazol and significantly higher after leuprorelin. This paper is centrally about endometriosis — it tests whether endometriosis and its anti-inflammatory hormonal treatments are associated with CRH changes and finds CRH independence during treatment.
