Abstract
Als schwerste Manifestationsform der Endometriose stellt die tief infiltrierende Endometriose das Behandlungsteam oft vor besondere Herausforderungen. Neben einer möglichst exakten Diagnostik und Befundeinschätzung ist eine individuelle, an die Lebenssituation der Patientin angepasste, operative Therapie unerlässlich. Aufgrund ihres komplexen Charakters sollte die Therapie einer TIE an spezialisierten Endometriosezentren interdisziplinär erfolgen.
