Abstract

Objective:To study the expression of Bcl-2 and proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) in ectopic endometrum of nude mice. Methods:Sixty nude mice with endometriosis were divided randomly into three groups:the endostatin group (n=20),the group without endostatin (n=20),the PBS group (n=20).Using SP immunohistochemical technique,Bcl-2 and PCNA were assessed in ectopic endometrium of model mice. Results:The gland in three groups withered, the blood vessel in three group reduced;and the endostatin group gland reduced obviously.Bcl-2 and PCNA were both located in the gland through curing. The positive rate of expression about Bcl-2 protein in the endostatin group was significantly lower than that in the group without endostatin(P0.05) and in the PBS group (P0.05).The positive rate of expression about Bcl-2 protein in the group without endostatin was not significantly different from that of the PBS group (P 0.05).The positive rate of expression about PCNA protein in the endostatin group was significantly lower than that in the group without endostatin (P0.05) and in the PBS group (P0.05).The positive rate of expression about PCNA protein in the group without endostatin was not significantly different from that of the PBS group (P0.05).Conclusion:Endostatin can cure endometriosis.
