This prospective study evaluated whether uterorectal adhesions visualized by transvaginal ultrasound (TVU) using the “uterine sliding sign” could predict deep infiltrating rectal endometriosis in 142 symptomatic women scheduled for laparoscopy, with postoperative histology as confirmation.
