Abstract

Three modes of therapy are available for conservative management of endometriosis: surgery, medical suppression, and a combination of surgery and medical suppression. The mode chosen generally depends on symptoms (for example infertility, dysmenorrhea, dys-pareunia) and severity of the disease. Laparoscopic surgery is currently the primary conservative approach to the treatment of all cases of minimal, most cases of mild, and many cases of moderate or severe endometriosis (AFS-r Classification of Endometriosis). However, I believe many endometriosis patients need combined medical and surgical treatment. Preview Unable to display preview. Download preview PDF. Similar content being viewed by others
